Coconut husk reptile bedding is naturally ideal for use in terrariums for pets that require specific humidity levels to be maintained for their health and happiness. Zoo Med Eco Earth Loose Coconut Fiber Substrate is made primarily from the husks of coconuts. Coconut fiber bedding is meant to be kept slightly damp to maintain proper humidity levels as well as absorb and break down odor and waste. This makes it ideal for use as coconut husk reptile bedding or amphibian bedding in tropical terrariums. Many pets thrive in environments with specific humidity levels; such pets include: dry land newts frogs, toads, tortoises, box turtles, other terrestrial turtles, forest-dwelling lizards, snakes and invertebrates like hermit crabs thrive in environments with specific and constant humidity levels.
